Darrin Horn and his South Carolina squad will look to move to 5-0 on the season this evening against Miami in the championship game of the Charleston Classic. The Gamecocks have already defeated Atlantic 10 member La Salle on Thursday night by the score of 78-68 and then knocked off Big East member South Florida 69-66 on Friday night to advance to this point.
This tournament could go a long way toward solidying a position in the NCAA Tournament come March as the Gamecocks could own three resume building wins against teams from power conference which could help boost their RPI. Carolina will return home to face Jacksonville on Friday at 7 p.m. at Colonial Life Arena.
